Overall, Blake is your average sweetheart. He loves to make people smile and laugh, especially his girlfriend. He is a romantic and wants to put it to good use, so he likes to come up with sweet songs to play and cute things to do for his girl. He loves helping people, he'd help someone in a heartbeat, no matter who it was. With his anger problems, he tends to do things like roll his eyes, say things under his breath about you, or just be sarcastic to you. But, if you get him really mad there is really no stopping him, but that doesn't happen often.

Blake Caden Laurence was an accidental birth; his mother was only eighteen when she had him. Now, it's not what you're thinking. The girl getting pregnant and the father running out on her when times get rough. Actually, quite the opposite. He proposed to her when she first found out that she was pregnant, and they got married only months later. Blake was born into a happy, caring family, but it was hard for them to live.

Neither of his parents went to college, so it was hard for the to find a job, but they managed. All through his life, he was taught not to worry about money, but to worry about what was inside his heart. When he was eight, his mother noticed him taking an interest in violin, and skipped a month of paying bills just to buy him his own violin and things to teach him how to play. That had to be his happiest moment. His father, unfortunately, died in a car accident when he turned thirteen years old and that's when his passive aggressive anger came into play, along with the drugs.

His mother began to notice his newly found temper; the muttering under his breath, lying, and sometimes even stealing. It wasn't bad, she knew, but she didn't like the fact that his anger had grew. She didn't get to spend much time with him, because soon after his father died she had to take up two jobs, so she was barely home. He spent his time trying out different kinds of drugs, but he mostly likes heroine. When he had turned sixteen, he met a girl named Alliya, and introduced her to the drugs. Unfortunately, her parents found her at his house shooting up, and he didn't get to see her anymore.

That's when everything went down hill. His anger started acting up more and more, and he would only take more drugs to forget about everything. Eventually, his mother found out; she didn't send him off immediately, but instead tried to help him herself. Instead, he just ignored her completely, and when he didn't, he was putting her down; bringing up things that she didn't want to hear such as how he was a mistake and how it was her fault that they didn't have any money, this would often happen when he was high and he would try and piss her off. Finally, she'd had enough and just sent him off to Hawthorne, in hopes of him getting better.
