this here, yeah-- ash stymest. unf. anyways, this character is an asshole, truly. he'll fuck anything, he'll use you're drugs, he'll steal your shit-- and if you call him out on it, he'll fuck you up. now, why does scarlet even know him? believe it or not-- they are both from the same town. lavender grove, but when he was five-- they moved to new york to get away from the cult. he and scarlet though? they were close childhood friends, closer than close actually. so what changed? how did he go from being one of scarlet's closest friends to this-- his life when he moved to new york changed-- some blame the divorce- but truly-- his brother ran with a bad crowd, and when he turned thirteen he ran with the same crowd and grew more volatile. after committing two murders in one night, he was sent here at sixteen-- yep. he's been here for a year. when he first sees scarlet, he doesn't know who she is-- and sees her attack a doctor-- he just thinks the girl is batshit crazy... when he sees her again, talking to a man named 'no eyes'-- he kinda freaks. why? because scarlet used to talk to him about the 'no eyed man' frequently. so they reconnect-- and much to the people who have known him since he got here surprise-- he becomes extremely attached to his childhood friend.
why? because she's the only thing he remembers before his family's life went to shit, before his brother began to run with gangs-- before everything. so as they grow closer-- he realizes he's developing feelings other than wanting to bone his childhood friend, and it freaks him out-- resulting in him taking more drugs, and attempting to avoid her. of course one night after some very hard partying, he shows up at her dorm--completely intoxicated--claiming he loves her before shortly passing out... and this, this scares scarlet-- due to not believing she's worthy of attention in that sense, she attempts to push him away-- and as she begins avoiding him. without any knowledge of what happened the night before, he is very confused and confronts her... when she tells him, he's shocked... but relieved. when he tells her again-- she freezes up and walks away. which leaves him very confused, so he goes snooping in the files-- after finding out what happened to her-- when he confronts her again-- will she tell the truth, and try to reciprocate the feelings? or will she travel further down the rabbit's hole? and for that matter-- how will he react?
