I happen to be sixteen! But I'm here for having nightmares all the time. I guess that I've also driven myself to insomnia in the process.

I'm straight! Although I don't go looking for relationships. Its kinda hard anyways.

Excellent. Now, for the benefit of our readers, how would you describe your appearance?[/color][/font][/b]
Some people describe me as tall, but one thing that stands out is my hair! Its bright red, although all natural. I'm rather skinny, and lanky, but otherwise, just like everyone else!
And if a stranger had to spot you in a crowd what should they look out for?[/color][/font][/b]
My red hair would definitely set me apart from others, but otherwise I'd be seen in jeans and a t-shirt! Sometimes wearing a leather jacket, and boots, but usually just what a normal teenager wears.
What's the first thing this stranger would notice about you?[/color][/font][/b]
My red hair, and the fact that I sign, use sign language! I'm completely deaf, so it's really my only way of communicating! My speech is utterly horrible because I've been deaf since birth. I've never heard what 'normal' speech sounds like, so in turn it's harder for me.
Let's just say this stranger decides to observe you for a bit - any habits or quirks they might notice?[/color][/font][/b]
I'm usually extremely nervous at first. Although its hard to tell, since I don't really use my voice to talk, and I've known how to sign for so long that I don't really mess up anymore.
So this creepy stranger, what would their first impression of your character be?[/color][/font][/b]
Probably that I'm really nice! If they don't know how to sign usually I try a different way to communicate, and I can read lips rather well, but otherwise I'm nice.

So, sport, you got any hobbies?[/color][/font][/b]
Horseback riding! I've loved it since I was a kid. No matter what is wrong with someone, the horse's don't care! They just keep on going, and listening as best they can. I also love swimming!
Interesting! And what about the things you like the most?[/color][/font][/b]
I really love swimming, hanging out with friends, horseback riding, school, being alone is a major one! I'm almost never allowed to be alone, so its something that I cherish.
And there's gotta be things you don't like too, right?[/color][/font][/b]
I really dislike rude people, or even people that don't try to get to know me because it can be rather hard to talk to me if they don't know how to sign. Also people that don't understand that I can do things for myself! I'm not an idiot, and I know how to do basically everything that they do.

I sometimes wonder if I wasn't born deaf, but something happened when I was little. Something that my parents aren't telling me, because it could possibly hurt me.

Definitely my personality! I'm usually always happy, and as outgoing as I can be, although usually nervous and shy at first.
And your worst? C'mon, no one's perfect, kiddo.[/color][/font][/b]
I mean being deaf is pretty bad. I can't easily communicate with people, so in turn, some people don't like getting to know me.

I'm from Florida originally, but we moved to California to help with the doctors and such.

My parents believe that my nightmares are beginning to affect my life negatively.

I was born a few weeks premature. My ear drums weren't able to fully develop because of a birth defect. I was born deaf. I was visiting doctors every week in order to see if anything could be reversed. After countless surgeries and tests to see if I would ever get my hearing back I was enrolled into a class to learn sign language. The sooner I learned it the better.

I went to a special high school that was only for teens that were deaf. That way it would be easier for us to learn, and we wouldn't need translators. Although that was also the start of my nightmares. I would dream that kids would attack us, hurt us, and murder us just because we were different. This started spiraling out of control to me waking up in the middle of the night screaming. I couldn't handle it anymore and neither could my parents. They decided to send me here.
