»PERSONALITY•
Tony is pretty much the ideal friend. He's kind and caring, funny, and always willing to listen. He was always pretty mentally stable, considering his drug abuse, but Andrea changed all that. She came around, weaseled her way into his mind, and latched violently onto his heart strings. She feigned deeper attraction than she actually felt, led the boy on, and brought out the worst in him-- but he was hooked. She had a stronger hold on him than any drug ever had.

After she left him, he grew clingy and depressed, craving human contact-- more specifically, her contact. He began obsessing over her and fell harder into the clutches of drugs, eventually landing himself in court when he crashed his bike through the backyard of a family's backyard and into the swimming pool in the middle of their young son's birthday party. He felt awful once he came down from his high, but was transferred to Hawthorne from the county prison after only eighteen months for good behavior.

»BITTERSWEET HISTORY•
From his childhood, Tony had always lived for reckless activity. He was always the first to try and climb the tallest tree, to the highest point of the jungle gym, anything he could manage-- and he was usually the first to fall. Many were the busted lips, broken bones, and stitches that he got growing up. After one particularly hilarious fall from the top of the swing set, he met Hunter Caiden Jones. The two immediately hit it off, and were rarely seen apart afterwards. Some said they were an unlikely pair, considering their apparently opposite personalities, but the pair were inseparable.

They remained close through middle school and on into high school, their activities getting more and more reckless and large in scale as they got older and were able to do more things. After Hunter met Andrea, he brought her to hang out with their little circle of friends, and Tony fell hard and fell fast. The two started dating, but the fling was doomed for disaster, as the affection was primarily one-sided. As soon as Tony found out that she was a masochist, he refused to harm or have sex with her, and she broke it off. In an act of anger, he went to her parents and told them all about her addictions and supplied the name of Hawthorne, where Hunter had been shipped to and where he planned on being admitted as well.

He fell into spiraling depression and got heavier into drugs shortly after she was sent away. One night, after a particularly heavy dose of his favorite drugs, Tony blacked out and crashed his bike through the backyard fence of a family throwing a birthday party for their son and drove his bike right into the swimming pool. He was sent to jail with a five year sentence, but was transferred to Hawthorne per his request after eighteen months for good behavior.
