Nico panted heavily as he ran around the track with Jayden happily jogging beside him. Nico enjoyed running, as long as he was sure that no one would get in his way. Jayden, on the other hand, was usually very hyper and spent most of the time pacing in the room, anxious to get outside and run around. That’s not to say that Jayden wasn’t obedient; he followed Nico’s commands to the letter, so he didn’t really need to have Jayden on a leash. As soon as they finished the last lap, Nico collapsed on the grass and hyperventilated for a few minutes before sitting back up.
“I… am thirsty.” Nico stated to no one in-particular. “Come on, Jayden. Let’s go to the car and get something to drink.” Pushing himself up from the ground, he wiped the sweat from his forehead and walked in the direction of the parking lot with Jayden in pursuit. As they walked onto the cement that was the parking lot, Jayden started barking at someone in the direction they were headed. “Hey there.” Nico called out in the direction of the person. “Stop barking.” Jayden almost immediately shut up, but still whined a bit .
“I… am thirsty.” Nico stated to no one in-particular. “Come on, Jayden.
