Mikaela stood by the bar, flirting with the bartender, twirling the straw around her mouth with her tongue and tilting her head to look up at him with those big brown eyes. She was really working it and it was paying off in the form of free drinks. The problem was, Mikaela was an alcoholic. She promised she would stop and try to kick the addiction when she got there but so far it hadn't gone according to plan.
It didn't matter though, not tonight anyway. It was her first night in maine and she was determined to make it enjoyable. After having the bartender re-fresh her drink for the fourth time that night, Kaela decided to take a stroll around the club to see if she could spot any hot young things to take back to her motel tonight. She really didn't feel up for sleeping alone.
Sipping her drink and swaying those hips, Kaela was already drawing attention but it just wasn't enough. She was young, perhaps not as young as she used to be but she certainly looked it, so she would enjoy the night as much as possible.
She moved to a wall near one of the speakers and stood there, leaning against it, dancing and moving her body like she had spent her entirely learning how to seduce someone simply by moving. It wasn't surprising though. Being the daughter of a stripper you tend to pick up a few things. Still, she moved slowly to the music, waiting for a hot young thing to come her way. Mikaela generally liked men in their 20s but late teens worked just as well.

natasha hayden cooper had never been one to party, not even in college when you were supposed to party. no, she had a child to raise, so partying was out of the question for the twenty-five year old. but work had been pretty hectic lately, so she needed a break from daisy's constant bickering and talking. it gave the woman a headache sometimes. not that she didn't love little daisy so much, because she did. she loved her daughter with all her heart, and even more. the bond between child and mother was something that natasha didn't have to think about. she'd do anything for that little girl, even though she was eight. but sometimes one had to do something for themselves.
daisy was eight now, so she felt safe having a babysitter watch her for an evening. though it took her a long while to finally decide on a babysitter. finding one of the students at the school who weren't bad at all. her name was florencia erin reiner and the girl seemed nice enough. plus her issue wasn't in hurting others and she seemed like a good canidate to babysit her little daisy. so kissing goodbye to little daisy, she gave flo the run down and headed out.
first she had a dinner by herself at the cafe, walked along the beach and heading back to her apartment she passed the club. deciding some dancing would do her some good. of course about two hours have already passed and she called home, to check on the girls and flo said they were doing good. she told flo she was going to go to a club for a little bit, to try and relax some before coming home. after hanging up, she opened the door. this wasn't exactly what she was expecting, then again she really didn't have any clue what she had been expecting.
she slowly walked to the bar, taking everything in all at once. she noticed as somebody ordered a gin and tonic and decided she'd try that. so she said it and took her drink with her across the club, avoiding the dancers, kind of confused on what exactly one did at a bar and club type thing. she kind of just slid into a corner and sipped her drink, that was stronger than she thought it was going to be.

Mikaela was nice and buzzed and still had a drink in her hand. This was all that was required for it to be a good night. She did plan to start over and try going sober again but how well would that work? The headahces and DTs alone weren't worth the effort but Mikaela had to at least try, if for no other reason than her baby who she was slowly running out of time with.
How many more chances was she going to get to be a good mother? Probably not too many more so she had to get it right now and she was still putting it off. Tomorrow, that was the plan. Tomorrow was when she would stop cold turkey and just deal with the damn consequences. She had good reason to after all. She had a son who needed her... He did still need her, didn't he?
She continued to move to the beat in that tight tank top and short denim skirt. She had a great figure, so why not show it off? Her hair just hung loosely, falling over her shoulder in waves. She closed her eyes for a moment just moving to the beat.
She opened them again after a moment, sipping more of her drink through a straw and she glance around at her surroundings only to find a woman next to her. "Hello," she said politely with a smile. She was drunk and she wanted to get laid but she could sure as hell just have a conversation too if she wanted!

natasha was straight, completely, but she wasn't one of those girls who thought that admitting a girl was cute was some sin or something. it was stating something. people were pretty, no matter what sex. she didn't have to feel sexual things towards them to admit someone was beautiful or attractive. the woman that seemed to be near her, was indeed attractive. she wasn't going to deny that, there really was no denying it.
the blonde probably looked like this was her crowd, kind of? her body certaintly fit, but her dress was not club type. the fact that she was standing in the corner looking like she was about to die didn't help her case either. she was glad the woman talked. talking, that was her comfort zone. she was a therapist after all, she was great at talking and listening. standing in a crowded club, not her comfort zone. especially if she had to do it all on her own.
"hello. i'm natasha, it's nice to meet you." she held her hand out, before realizing that people probably didn't do that in the club. she quickly dropped her hand, "uh yeah..so..what does one do here?" she knew she sounded like an idiot, but she didn't care really. it was better to ask then to stay the whole time, looking like an idiot.

Mikaela smiled at the woman. She seemed a little out of place here and although Kiki was from out of town she fit right in. She knew bars and clubs, she spent most of her life in them! And once you've been in one, you've been in them all. It was always the same old routine just with new songs and new faces. It wasn't difficult to get used to it and enjoy yourself.
Besides, this was her last night of freedom before everything started to chance. Her whole life was going to get turned around and she was going to have to get used to it. She was going to get sober and stay that way. No relapsing this time because she really couldn't afford to. It was her last chance and she was going to take it seriously this time no matter what happens.
"I'm Kiki," she told her with a smile as she sipped more of her drink. She would have shook her hand but smiled even as it dropped. She was already feeling the effects of the alcohol. Everything around her seemed just a little blurred and hazy, just the way she liked it. She could float through life like this, never really experiencing anything, just going through it all. It was no life at all but it was all she had known. it was a quick fix to any problem and she had learned that from a very young age. She grew up faster than any girl should and she had never looked back.
Kiki laughed a little at the question. "Have fun of course," she said with a smile like it was blatantly obvious or something. How you had fun was a whole different thing and that depended on the person involved. "Usually, you have a few drinks, you dance, and then you go home with some cute young thing and wake up in the morning to one hell of a headache," she said with a smile, half-joking, half-serious.
