the day was long and nerve racking, because the male had to got on top of his game he had been in town for a week and a half searching about the place. the main things that he had been looking for was a job and a place to live. finances were something that were tight for andre, but he would manage, because maine or south haven didn't seem to be that expensive of a place to live, but living didn't come cheap you had the couple hundred dollars for rent, the down payment, the bus fair, the electricity, food, and more. that was something he was use to though barely making it by. he was in north haven applying for jobs here as well, because he needed the money and he'd do anything at this point to make it by so that he was stable and living a rather prosperous, so maybe when he met up with jackson if he chose to do so rather than watch over him he'd feel alright knowing he was doing okay.
the first thing he did here at betty's diner was apply for a waiter or possibly a bus boy, because he was an okay cook, but he had not prior experience in cooking, so he didn't think he could manage making other people's food. he wanted something full time, but he would take something part time as well in hopes to get several jobs possibly. the food distracted him though, well the smell of the food so he ended up getting a burger and fries the classic american meal. he liked being physically fit, but he did enjoy dabbling in some unhealthy and greasy food.
it was noon on a saturday, so the place was kind of busy but he had started early and managed his way here around this time and the bus was not going to wonder its way around back the place for about two hours. he was staying at a hotel over in south haven, because well jackson was on that side of town. sure he wasn't allowed on the grounds of hawthorne, but he would find a way to watch over him. he hoped he was doing well over at this place and the school was helping him actually helping him a bit. today though andre was kind of down in the dumps though today feeling discouraged the hiring potential was kind of poor and he had yet to see jack out and about..
