»PERSONALITY•
Jesse, himself, is typically a nerd and kind of shy. Jesse would rather spend his time playing videogames or reading a comic book. He can sometimes be seen trying to harm himself, only so he won't have to harm anyone else so he can satisfy the voices. He's sort of insomniac because the voices usually won't let him go to sleep and he won't sleep until he passes out, passing out is the only time he doesn't hear the voices. He also talks to himself, well the voices, but it looks like he's talking to himself. Jesse is typically a quiet kid.

Damian is Jesse's protector. If someone's trying to pick a fight with Jesse, Damian will come out. Damian doesn't give a crap about anybody except Jesse. Damian is the one who gets in a fight and will take any hit, punch, kick than he can get, he will never back down from a fight. He's the one who will listen to death metal type music all day if he can.

Kendall is not shy at all, he's more social than Jesse. Kendall is the party animal and will party till he's passed out. Kendall drinks, smokes, and everything else that is illegal, doing all the things that Jesse doesn't do. It's easy for him to make friends, unlike Jesse.

»BITTERSWEET HISTORY•
Throughout Jesse's childhood, things weren't normal. His parents marriage fell apart shortly after his sister, Cathleen was born. Jesse's father was abusive and started this when Jesse was only five years old. The weird thing was that Jesse's father only abused him and not his sister and was blaming him for everything. Because of the abuse going on at home, Jesse's mother worked longer hours so she didn't have to listen to Jesse's cries for help.

Jesse's personality, Damian, came about when Jesse was about seven. Damian came out to protect Jesse from his dad. Whenever Jesse's dad would abuse him, Damian would be taking the abuse to protect Jesse. Seven years old was also when the voices in Jesse's head, now Damian couldn't protect Jesse from that. It didn't matter that Damian was protecting him now because he started harming himself to get rid of the voices and satisfy them and that's also when his sleeping patterns started to change.

One time, he started scratching around his eyelids, like he was trying to scratch his eyeballs right out of his skull and telling the voices to shut up, it happened at school in one of his classes when he was eleven. Someone called for an ambulance and the principal called Jesse's parents. Jesse's mother worked as nurse in the hospital that Jesse was sent to and his mother was one of the nurses that worked with him. During the stay in the hospital, Jesse's personality Damian showed up whenever they did tests on him and Jesse couldn't sleep nearly at all because of the voices. Not only did Damian show up, but another personality came about. This personality was named Kendall, he only came out when questions were being asked that Jesse would be too shy to answer. He was diagnosed with multiple personality disorder and schizophrenia. So, after awhile, Jesse was able to go back home, where he could harm himself some more and deal with his abusive father.

Jesse's personality, Kendall, really started coming out about a year later. Kendall was the one who would get drunk one night and then leave Jesse with a hangover the next day with no idea why. Jesse started blaming Kendall and Damian for everything, but no one listened. That's when Jesse's mother was sick of him.

Jesse's mother sent him to Hawthorne two months after his fifteenth birthday, wanting him to get better and not wanting to deal with him at the same time.
