ARABELLA ROSE JENSON
No more time to care
No more time, today

Hey there, glad you could join us. So first thing's first, what do we call you?
Well my parents named my Arabella. I go by Bella most of the time though. Not because of the stupid vampire book though. I had the name Bella long before that book came out.
Okay, got it. And how old are you, if you don't mind me asking?
I’m sixteen, and a sophomore in high school.
Mhm and, now don't take this the wrong way, but are you a guy or a girl?
I’m a girl..
And are you straight, gay or...?
I’m straight. Isn’t that a rather personal question?
Have we met before? You look so familiar!
I don’t think so. People have told me I look a lot like Astrid Berges-Frisbey though.
Excellent. Now, for the benefit of our readers, how would you describe your appearance?
Well for starters I’m tiny. No I’m not just saying that. I’m only five feet and maybe ninety five pounds on a good day. I have really long dark brown hair, that’s wavy and usually frizzy. I have green eyes and pale skin.
And if a stranger had to spot you in a crowd what should they look out for?
I wear mostly dresses, always with flats or boots. Pretty much all muted colors. I don’t really like brights or even black much. I have a pretty simple style.
What's the first thing this stranger would notice about you?
My itty-bitty size maybe? I don’t know. I don’t think I stand out much.
Let's just say this stranger decides to observe you for a bit - any habits or quirks they might notice?
Well I bounce on my toes a lot, when I’m nervous or bored. I never wear shoes when I can avoid it.
So this creepy stranger, what would their first impression of your character be?
Probably that I’m really quiet and kind of awkward. I don’t do well with people I just meet. I keep to myself most of them. Well except when I’m in a manic mood. Then I’ll be kind of hyper and wanting to talk to everyone.
So, sport, you got any hobbies?
I draw a lot. Does that count as a hobby? Cause that’s basically it. I do mean a lot.
Interesting! And what about the things you like the most?
I like drawing obviously, music too, mostly rock. I like blueberries, chocolate donuts, daisies, cats, pumpkin pie, and star gazing.
And there's gotta be things you don't like too, right?
Yep. I don’t like country music, turtlenecks, my mom, pigeons, romantic comedies, broccoli, hot weather, and Cosmo.
Great! So are you keeping any secrets? Don't worry, I swear I won't tell.
No one knows what happened at that party between Andrew and me. So yeah, date rape is kind of big secret. Not even my mom knows.
My lips are sealed. Now, what would you say is your best quality?
Best quality? I guess my drawing is pretty good. Can’t really think of anything else.
And your worst? C'mon, no one's perfect, kiddo.
I’m really bad with new people, like really bad.
Now how about the other people in your life, let's talk family.
Well I have both my mom and my dad. My dad does something for the family company. There’s a lot of hotels and buildings and business-y stuff that my grandpa started. Yeah I’m a trust-fund baby. So my mom basically just does whatever. Which is mostly shopping and ignoring me. I don’t have any siblings but I have a couple of close cousins. London and Persia on my mom’s side. They’re both sisters. Then Candice on my dad’s side. They’re pretty great.
Any pets?
My cat, Lemon.
You're doing great, just a few more questions. So where are you from?
I’m from New York City. It’s okay I guess. Not enough nature there for my taste though.
I see, cool. So how come you ended up at Hawthrone?
Well it’s mostly because of my depression. But it’s also because the last place they sent me to was bad. When I came home from there, I tried to start a normal life again. It didn’t work. I kept having nightmares and freak outs and what not. So I guess I have a bit of ptsd? Maybe I don’t know, I’m all messed up.
Almost done. So anything else we should know about you?
I was born in New York City on January 12th. My childhood wasn’t really that interesting. Pretty normal for the rich kids in the city. Nannies, fancy preschool, more nannies, fancy elementary school, etc, etc. Neither of my parents ever paid much attention to me. Dad was too busy making more money, and Mom was busy spending it. It wasn’t until middle school that anything interesting happened. Middle school was when everything started going downhill. That was when I started dating Andrew. I was twelve, he was fourteen. It was good at the start I guess. He was kind of a jerk, but he was dating me, so I thought it was awesome. I mean most seventh graders didn’t get to date freshmen in high school.
I was even more happy when he invited me to one of the parties. I thought it would be awesome, I would get to be part of the cool kids. At first it was like that. It was fun, there was booze, everyone was nice. It went downhill when I started drinking too much, and well Andrew took advantage of that. That night, when I finally got home, was the night I first cut. We broke up the next day. My depression just kept getting worse and worse. I stopped caring about school, I skipped most of the time. I was barely going out. All the classic symptoms. When my mom caught me in the middle of cutting, that was the last straw. Off to the psych hospital I went, at age fourteen. They found a hospital only an hour away, Hartford Pysch Hospital. It looked like it was just a normal psych hospital.
Neither of my parents had any idea of how heavy-handed the staff ended up being. There was a lot of time in isolation, for anything that they didn’t like. It only made me worse. When my parents came to visit about six months into it, and I clearly wasn’t any better they took me back home. I stayed home for about a year after that. I was doing homeschooling and I was seeing a therapist. I started to get better for a little bit. Except for the nightmares. I still couldn’t stop the cutting. It was a year of slight bits of progress and a lto of backsliding. So my dad started doing a lot more research about other places and he came across some stuff for Hawthrone. So here I am.
Now it's time to find out about the player! What are we to call you?
