Laiso doesn't like people looking at her, she's the opposite of desiring to stand out from a crowd. She'd like to hide in the crowd until she could escape the crowd entirely. She doesn't speak unless spoken to and she doesn't make risky/hasty reactions or responses. She finds it near impossible to make a decision without a train of thought that inevitably led to bad things. She keeps herself safe and stable. She can make friends and loves to do so. She's lovely to her friends, kind, considerate and always willing to help. People have to accept though that she fears anything that could hurt herself or someone she cares about. In shorter words, she lives in her shell and it will take a very special person to coax her out of it.

Sadly, this dear thing is divorced. Her own parents were divorced and remarried and she never expected she would find herself divorcing anyone. When the effort was there to work on their marriage, the marriage was good. He felt like committing to his job meant that he was working on his marriage because he was earning. The affection was gone, as was the intimacy. They spent virtually no time with each other. He was always either working or out with friends. Though when she saw his friends in town, they would claim they hadn't seen him in a long time. It eventually turned out that he was having an affair and that was the final straw for her, she could be married to everything else but she couldn't be married to a cheater. The excitement and challenge of an affair was too much for her husband to resist, so it was over.

In the time of her divorce, at the age of only twenty-two, her father was the biggest rock she could've asked for. Her father was a strong believer that every step in her life was leading to something greater, though he himself didn't believe Laiso belonged with her husband he refused to look back on it while Laiso was going through her divorce. He just continually told her that it was destiny she would end up with the person she belonged with. He found her decision to get married at all so young to be a courageous one even if he was pessimistic about it. Laiso couldn't speak to anyone else, not even her mother, who was out of reach anyway. It became too much to live in California, where nothing was quiet and nothing was responsible. She had always wanted to visit the UK and relocated to a little village in Ireland called Ballyforan. It was cheap to live, quaint and had enough facilities for her to still live comfortably.

She worked at the local health center there and lived happily for fifteen months, no contact with anyone outside of her village. It was her ideal life. Then February 2011 came around. It was less than a week before Valentine's day and Laiso received a call from the fertility doctor she and her husband had arranged a consultancy with before the divorce to help them concieve. Under the pretense that she was still married she traveled back to California and had several hopefuls implanted inside her, not expecting that it would ever work. She wanted to go ahead anyway, because she wanted to be a mother, but at this stage in her life she hated the idea that something would actually go right for her. The procedure was done on Valentine's day.

By the end of the month she had been promoted at the health center she worked at from part-time to full time, so she really had no time to buy a pregnancy test or even wonder what happened to her period. She fainted in the middle of work and a close male friend helped her get checked in and tested. She had no idea until the doctor informed her of her pregnancy, she was still disoriented and could only think that she hadn't had any sex since her husband left. She came to within a few days and pieced things together slowly. The compromise between staying in the UK and going back to California was that she would head back to the U.S but could live in any state she pleased and could legally do so, so she picked Maine. Now she's seven months pregnant with.. triplets!
