hunter andre henderson, finally made peace with haven and though his brother was in south haven and he lived and worked in north haven the two were closer in a literal sense then they could ever manage before. though jackson was silly he loved him with all his heart and was so happy to be a part of his life. his job was only part time which kind of sucked, but it was a decent hourly wage, so he could pay bills and manage to live. though falling in love and moving in with a beautiful girl that wasn't what he thought was in his cards. the twenty-three year old was living with the one and only natasha cooper in north haven. there were two bedrooms and all, but it just really caught the man off guard. he had not been expecting this at all. jack told him that natasha loved him, but well he didn't see it that way. he saw it as him smitten by such a beautiful soul and there for her because of the tragic story of her daughter, but more than that he was there for her as a friend.
andre was off work early today, because he had traded shifts with some lady who needed the day off to be with her kids and well he took that shift so he could spend the night time with natasha. he had went to the grocery store and picked up some things and well he had been cooking for awhile now the place was mixed with different auroma's. yeah, andre was finally growing some balls and moving on his actions...the worst that could happen is he could be rejected and well have to move out because things got awkward...but he had dealt with worse in his lifetime. he made the cake first it was red velvet with a cream cheese frosting. he hoped that she wasn't allergic to either or any ingredients...then for dinner he had prepared a lasagna. that right now was in the oven and the cake was cool enough to frost, so that was what he was doing right now. he had picked up red wine and white wine and he didn't know which she preferred so he had both.
the table they had was small but it was for two and he had put a romantic spin on it. the door outside had a note. natasha must knock just for today and he'd get the door...he said there was a surprise for two in store, but mostly because he didn't want to be changing or in the middle of something and her walk in he wanted this to be romantic. sure it already was, but he wanted it to be perfect and possibly take her breath away. "dinner? check. table? check. desert? check. wine..check..blankets check.. he was making sure his checklist was going right and then he checked the dvd player again. "movie...all set". he licked his lips he wasn't missing a damn thing. now it was time for him to get dressed really quick. he went to his room put on some nice pants and nice shirt and a tie. yes, a tie. he was trying to impress her. it was just icing on the cake...though he was missing the final piece now her. he came back and paced back in forth trying to think of what he was going to say...do he had planned this all out, but the woman had him spinning in a lot of sense literally and not everything went as planed. he took a deep breath and shut his eyes. "everythings going to be fine". he said talking his nerves down.

natasha knew the first time andre offered to help her look for daisy, that she would come to like him in a way she never liked anyone since high school. he was sweet, helping someone he barely knew. though she was glad someone cared and the more time she spent with andre henderson, the happier she felt. however she did feel bad for being happy during such a time like this. though the happiest moment was on christmas with the andre, his brother, and his brother's girlfriend. it was nice because she wasn't so sure she could handle all of that on her own. a christmas by herself? no she would have spent the whole day crying and that wasn't how people are supposed to spend cr
but hope was lost now, the moment they found daisy's body, she couldn't stay in her own apartment anymore. the ever present items that belonged to daisy just tortured the poor woman and that was how she ended up in this apartment with andre. he offered and she couldn't say no.not with daisy looming in the other, how was she supposed to grieve and get better if she was constantly reminded of what she lost? no, that was why she moved into the extra room in andre's apartment and she was kind of happy there.
she worked today, then after work she spent an hour with a grief counselor. yeahthe counselor was seeing a counselor but she had nothing else to do.it was impossible to help others if she didn't help herself though there was one thing natasha could be proud of and it was victoria jean. she was becoming so happy, natasha was very proud of her and she wanted to hug the girl but that wasn't really necessary and she in her car,not sure if she wanted to go inside to an empty apartment. usually andre would be at work and she kind of wished to spend sometime with it but finally she grabbed her work bag and walked up to her and andre's apartment.
standing outside the door she took the note down and tilted her head. well this was strange, he shouldn't be home but she was kind of excited to spend the night with him instead of alone and she bit herlip before fixing her hair and makeup, so she didn't look like a tired mess and she knocked lightly at the door. "andre? whats going on," she called through the door, the excitement kind of ringing in it, though her eyes still shown with tears from therapy.

being a therapist herself, natasha knew better than anyone about the importance of grieving. so she was, she was grieving the best way she could and used andre as her life raft because he truly helped her when she was down. lately she had a lot more good days than bad but today was kind of a so-so day, until she found out andre was home and now her day was made. it was weird, the excitement that was building in her just so he can open the door and she could see him. he was probably one of the best people, no he was most definitely the best person she met in maine.
it was a bit strange how much she liked andre, especially given the circumstance but she wasn't about to push him away. she knew that you had to embrace new relationships but she was trying to take it kind of slow? or well..it was more she wasn't sure andre liked her that way, so she was kind of stuck taking it slow when a lot of times she just really wanted to see how soft his lips really were because when she looked at them, they seemed soft. yeah, it was probably not something she should think about, especially with her roommate and all but it was something that crossed the woman's mind quite a bit these days.
this thing was so sweet and something she would have never seen coming and she just let a smile fill her face and she shone with genuine curiosity and excitement. though when he opened the door, she couldn't help but move forward and hug him before quickly realizing that wasn't something she should have done. she clearned her through, stepped back and smoothed her dress out when he said that she looked beautiful. it wasn't that she didn't think she ws beautiful or that she was easily flustered. no, it wasn't any of those things that caused the soft blush that rose onto the blonde woman's cheeks. no it was the fact that andre said it and even though her eyes were puffy and she was just in work clothes. it was just too sweet and she wanted to hug him again but that might be crossing a line so she just smiled at him. "thanks..you look.." she bit her lip trying to think of something because to her andre always looked so amazing.
he had that slightly rugged, yet very handsome look to him and he seemed so grown though he really wasn't that old and he had the sweetest smile in the world. that was what natasha saw on a daily basis, but today...there was something else she couldn't quite place and it caused an odd butterfly effect in the pit of her stomach. for once she was nervous and for once she didn't know how to put her thoughts in to words. "really..handsome," she said softly before mentally yelling. that was the lamest thing to say but handsome did describe it but it was more than that but she was just going to shut up before she said anything else to ruin this moment.

] being that he was given up and he felt like often times he was on his last whim and he was never going to get to jackson...he knew the importance of having a rock. his rock was just a picture of his brother...in a coma and that was all he had to hold onto really. he didn't trust the world as far as he could throw it...which was he didn't trust it at all, because he couldn't take the weight of the world upon his shoulders and throw it at all. in all seriousness jackson was his rock now, but natasha...natasha was the best thing in maine that happened to him despite being reunited with his brother. neither one moment did he take for granted. the woman he had seen her at her very worst, but he also saw her at her best. he was truly glad she was in his life and he didn't need her walking out any doors anytime soon so he was taking a bit of jackson advice and finally sense he had time to make a move he was making it count.
the pace of a relationship was somewhat of a slow speed. they became there and present for one another and then they became roommates...so there was that rapid growth in their relationship, but it did stay friendly. andre, however was ready for this next step obviously, and well jack gave that push...even telling him he saw it in natasha as well and he respected his opinion. the thought of the two of them becoming boyfriend and girlfriend kind of just brought a smile to his lips. the woman was beautiful, had grace and poise, and he felt truly lucky. this was romance at its finest from andre, well for the right now, because it had been some time sense he had been romantic and tried to per sue a woman and someone as breath taking as natasha cooper probably deserved a lot more, but this was what he could manage and he was pretty proud. he just hoped she liked it...usually he wasn't a nervous man, but a very serious one but as he looked over the apartment his nerves were shaking him a bit.
the reaction was a smile and a hug and she seemed like she sparked some weird notion that andre didn't like the hug or something. she stepped back and smoothed out her dress before he got the chance to give the embrace back. "what is a matter miss...afraid of my hugs?" he asked leaning against the door and a smirk crossing his lips. now that she was there he wasn't so nervous. in fact he just wanted her to know he welcomed the embrace. obviously she had been crying and had been to one of her own sessions, but andre found her beautiful no matter what. then her cheeks flushed of a rosey red like color and the smirk turned into a genuine smile. "did you not know i found you beautiful? i'll attempt to be more clear from now on with my gazes" he said being serious. he needed to be more clear it was more his style anyways. then she said something about him looking and paused as if she was trying to find the words. the smile stayed, because he felt like she was going to pay him a compliment.
the word handsome escaped her lips and well his smile went wider. "why thank you" he said taking her hand and kissing her again. this was a different side of natasha that he hadn't really seen in this light of course. she was nervous... he had to make her feel more at home then nervous. upon her entrance he shut the door lightly behind her and kissed her cheek. "why don't you go take a seat natasha, and relax...i'm sure its been a long day i'll get you some dinner and some wine" he said sweetly. he just wanted her to be at ease and a way to do that was to be soothing he was sure or well he hoped. he let his words sink in as he made his way to their table standing behind the chair in which she was to sit waiting for her, because he was a gentleman and before he was going to do anything he was going to pull her chair out and possibly take her purse and anything she wanted to discard and let her ease in to the environment...their date.
